Indianapolis event planners, designers, florists, custom invitation makers, rental and linen professionals all come together one time each year in a bountiful collaboration to create beautiful tables and spaces. In this showcase, lead planners and designers envision a design and bring their inspirations to life for the public. From parties to weddings, and showers to celebrations, a great variety of tablescapes were displayed for viewing pleasure. This year, the Association of Bridal Consultant’s Art of the Table celebrated it’s tenth anniversary with designs blending an original theme and the number 10. Today’s blog features some of our favorite event designs by some of our trusted Indianapolis event planner and event venue partners!

Table 2: Celebrating 10
This table, designed for a 10-year vow renewal by the Omni Severin Hotel, incorporates the traditional gifts of tin and daffodils. This table is elegant, yet airy. Gold linens and flowers brighten the space, while a dark linens add an elegant base. We love the unique hanging flower vases!

Table 4: A Walk in Your Park
“A Walk in Your Park”, beautifully designed by Ace Party Rental, brings the outdoors inside with a whimsical winding vine arch, flowers and draped linens. This wedding design is easily imagined in a backyard or park. Again, hanging flower vases make a lovely addition. The sprinkled petals on the ground give a lighthearted accent to a luxurious table setting.

Table 6: Love Grows Over Time
It’s easy to see why this design by Ace Party Rental was voted Best Wedding Table. Elegant and timeless, Table 6 incorporates old family photos and vintage elements. The ornate centerpiece is tall, but high enough not to obstruct dinner conversation. The attention to detail is effortless with pearls draped over the picture frames. We especially love how the candles would offer a light glow at an evening reception.

Table 10: Decade of Bliss

Betty Johnson, for whom this event was created to honor, was celebrated this year with a traditional tribute table. Gold and pink is seen throughout this table; it is regal and feminine. Flowers gathered with ribbon and tied to the back of the chair add a bit of whimsy and serve as a frame to the name place cards. This tenth anniversary table, designed by Amanda Wood for Jonathan Byrd’s Banquets & Event Center, uses round elements to symbolize infinity. It is details such as that that make this table so gorgeous.

Table 12: Sophisticated Baby Shower
This table, designed by Ruffles and Roses, cleverly combines colors and patterns from the baby’s room with the expecting mother’s sophisticated taste. This is not your typical baby shower. The design helps to celebrate the expecting mom with a final (for now) adult party. We love how the drink color pops against the white and silver tablecloth.

Table 15: Wish Upon a Wedding

This is more than just a wedding table; Wish Upon a Wedding is an organization that grants wedding wishes for couples with life-threatening illnesses. This table design is simple and beautiful. Baby’s breath isn’t the typical keynote flower, but this big bouquet is just bold enough for this display.

Table 16: InTENsity

Winning Best Use of Branding, InTensity, a creation by Mon Amie Events, combines the event’s 10-year anniversary and the Roman numeral X. This wedding table is dramatic and rich with a dose of modern. The table runner, a centerpiece of red roses, provides a dramatic and fragrant pièce de résistance.

Table 17: Intimate Garden Wedding
Beautiful and bright, this wedding table, designed by Ruffles and Roses, is not afraid of vibrant colors–and we love it! The satin dinner napkins against the textured tablecloth make an interesting visual appeal. Nothing is quite as neat as the flower chandelier hanging from the gazebo! This table rightfully won Best Use of Color.

Table 19: The Cape
This Cape Cod-inspired wedding table, designed by Pink Poppy Ink and Design Group, brings in elements inland from the coast. Casual table and chairs are a remarkable contrast to the elaborate flower urns. Simple greens and striking pink peonies adorn the seaside inspired table. This refreshing design would be a great backdrop to an outdoor summer wedding or social reception.
