Let’s Explore a Winery Wedding Venue!
Have you been searching for the perfect collection of winery wedding venues and loads of ideas for your own upcoming winery wedding? Then you’ve come to the right place! Today’s Snappening Lovin’ Local blog features the Milagro Winery in the golden state California and has tons of subtle details to make your vineyard celebration even more memorable and unique.
This lovely couple had the most unforgettable winery wedding venue styled shoot with delicate vintage details thanks to a team of amazing professional wedding vendors led by Shery Bale of Sheryl Bale Photography and Stacy Shaw of Sylver Weddings & Events.
With various shades of purple showcased throughout the shoot, guests can be transported visually and tastefully into the “crushing of the grapes” with a palette that is both delicate and appropriate for a winery setting.
The Tiny Tavern, a vintage bar rental service, added flavor and fun to the uniqueness to this winery wedding photoshoot. However, nothing could compare to the gorgeous couple’s love for one another.
Let’s walk through this beautiful winery wedding together to show you some of the delicate details for this stunning celebration. (You can see a complete list of of vendors and a full photo gallery at the bottom of this post).

Winery Wedding Venue Must: White, Lilac and Purple Hues
First, let’s start with the elegant dresses. The majority of the dresses showcased in this shoot were provided by Ferndales Bridal and were perfect fit for this winery wedding venue setting.
The bride’s traditional white dress, combined with the lilac and purple versions for the bridesmaids’ dresses, created a versatile base palette for shoot organizer Sheryl Bale to build upon.
The bride’s dress looks simple at first glance, but when you take a second peek, you’ll notice that it is embellished with delicate lace details. The floor-length dress flowing gracefully across the ground gives the entire bridal party an elevated look. The maker of the bride’s dress is Estee Bridal Couture, and brides hoping to recreate a similar look can find more bohemian wedding dress designs at Wilderly Brides by Allure Bridal.
The bridesmaids’ dresses are by Morilee by Madeline Gardner, and offer unique, matching tones to complement the brides’ dress design and style.
For the shoot, Sheryl styled the dresses on wooden hangers on the roof of a small vintage, wooden barn that was on the property of this winery. The natural colors of the wooden barn and vintage wagon wheels make the dresses even more eye-catching.
Photographer Sheryl Bale recalls:
“The couple (featured here) are an actual engaged couple. They were brave and did the shoot with us, and the duo had moments when they were holding back tears during the alter shoot. They were so sweet.”
Look for your own special nooks, locations and moments for great shots at your winery wedding venue.

Add a Touch of Cuteness with a Mini Vintage Bar
Photographer Sheryl Bale mentioned that her favorite part was “shooting the couple in front of the little bar called The Tiny Tavern.”
This tavern on wheels adds to the vintage touch of this whole winery wedding venue setting. Who wouldn’t want to have a sip at a drink from this unique caravan bar?
The comfy chair and the lantern provide the finishing touches to make the setting even more relaxing and charming. The caravan’s baby blue and white color palette, and rounded shape adds to the cuteness of the overall look. The opened window and the handwritten chalkboard makes it feel very welcoming for all winery wedding venue guests.
The couple posed for several photos in front of The Tiny Tavern looking affectionately at one another, and adding to the romantic vibes of the day.
The Tiny Tavern also featured this couple on their own Facebook page and noted:
“When your caravan bar is outshone by the couple’s love…Their love was so genuine + sweet — it radiated all around.”
If you too cannot resist the cuteness of this traveling tavern, then you’re in luck because it’s available for wedding and event rentals in the Southern California area.

Winery Wedding Venue Flower Power: Baby’s Breath & Calla Lilies
Winery wedding venues often provide a natural color palette of forest greens and wooden browns which offer brides a lot of freedom to work in their favorite colors. Here, florist Riverside Flower Club, combined shades of blushing pink and soft lilac flowers to match the purple theme throughout the setting.
The bride’s bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere are another spotlight for this beautiful wedding styled shoot. The exquisite cascading flower bouquet is made from magenta calla lilies and white poppies, and decorated with small lilac blooms. The lush flowers mixed with the greenery make it more natural. The elegant flower bouquet is a perfect pop against the bride’s white wedding gown. The groom’s boutonniere is decorative, yet classy, and matches the color of the bride’s bouquet.
The Baby’s Breath flower bouquet, mixed with various shades of purple, adds a soft gentle feel. The macramé, decorated with a string of baby’s breath flowers makes the perfect wedding backdrop. The macramé in this wedding is made by Kerry Mills, a private, Orange County native craftsperson who loves creating custom macramé pieces for home or wedding decor.

A Winery Wedding Venue Tablescape: Detailed & Delicate
The simple wooden table is brought to life by the lavish table settings. The purple linen table runner laid across the oaky brown table offers the foundation for this gorgeous vintage styled setup. Looking closely, you’ll notice the small delicate details.
The white, lace-patterned plates layered on top of gold, textured chargers, combined with the gold-brushed silverware, completes this luxury design and style. The clear and purple wine goblets add a very vintage feel. Brides can find similar purple table runners, white lace-patterned plates, gold chargers, gold utensils and purple wine goblets online.
The bright, floral centerpiece explores other shades of purple and freshens up the whole scene. The purple candles are a must for a romantic dinner after the sun sets. Another delicate detail is the black pocket watch laid next to the flowers. Similar vintage accessories and gift sets may be found at Groomsday.
The table is set in a spacious area on the winery property, complete with wine barrels and stately rocks in the background. Winery wedding venues that offer elegant areas like this outdoors, or unique cellars indoors give brides a lot of natural charm to work with as the basis of any décor palette. With string lights hanging around the outdoor areas, the romantic vibes are sure to be a hit as sunset falls into night and guests make their way to the dance floor under the stars.
We say cheers to such a magnificent celebration!

The Cake’s Crystal Details
Just like picking the perfect dress, having the perfect design for your wedding cake is an equally important consideration. Here, the cake, designed by Sweet as Bliss, artistically adds a more luxurious feel to the event by incorporating this elegant crystal rock design.
This wedding cake is embellished with purple amethyst quartz crystals. The geode wedding cake is purposefully cracked on the edge, showing the inside beauty of a crystalline rock. The rim of the opening is lined with brushed gold, adding to the chic design, style and sophistication of this winery wedding venue scene. The cake designer incorporated rich amethyst and jewel tones through a watercolor effect mixed with gold which puts a different twist on the typical geode cake. It’s a clever idea to keep the the bottom tier simple and clean for the two tiers to complement one another.
This perfectly imperfect cake, with visible purple, marbled brushstrokes, topped with simple florals with just a little greenery completes the art-inspired look. Brides can find numerous beautiful geode wedding cake designs for their own winery weddings by searching online.
The cake sits atop a beautiful, vintage round gold geometric metal cake stand. It accentuates the beauty of this delicacy and completes the visual presentation of this piece of art. Brides looking for a similar cake stand for their own winery wedding can find many others online.
