Snappening gears up for Cincinnati market expansion
INDIANAPOLIS — Snappening, a free online tool that connects residents and businesses to a massive searchable list of event venues and professional event planners, announced its seventh market launch today with the Cincinnati market expansion. The tech startup, which was founded in nearby Indianapolis, has grown steadily and is incorporating greater Cincinnati’s 1,000+ venues and event planning professional to its existing popular Indiana and Kentucky-centric dataset.
The new venue and planner profiles will list records in more than 40 distinct categories in a 30-mile radius from the city center, as well as a handful of popular Dayton-area businesses, and will be the most comprehensive of its kind. Now Buckeye State users can find anything from banquet halls, museums, restaurants, gardens and conference centers, to private, historic and waterfront venues. The site offers quick searches for basic details like guest count, zip code and venue type, in addition to an entire suite of advanced search features such as catering preference, attendee age, sleeping room requirements, venue style, outdoor space, liquor license, onsite planning support and handicap accessibility. The site offers one of the most sophisticated search features in the hospitality industry.

Venue partners can provide potential clients with a wide breadth of information about their facility including detailed photos, seating capacity and a customizable guide complete with menus, catering preferences, event requirements and individual room specifications. Both industry partners showcase their work in a uniform platform to reach consumers who might be planning any one of more than 40 distinct types of events from social gatherings such as birthday parties, weddings and galas to corporate activities such as meetings, training sessions and conferences.
Snappening has combined the latest digital event planning tools with established marketing practices to create a uniform, easy-to-use and community-friendly service. Since the site is “event agnostic,” (users search and plan bridal, social or corporate events the same way) it works for anything as complex as a large corporate event or retreat, to more simplistic endeavors such as birthdays, graduations and receptions.
