Snappening President & CEO featured in new book

INDIANAPOLIS – November 17, 2011 – Snappening President & CEO Crystal Grave shares her experiences transitioning from full-time employee to business owner in the new book, Plan C: The Full-Time Employee and Part-Time Entrepreneur.

In the book, written by entrepreneur and Butler University professor Erin Albert, Grave is among several local business leaders profiled about her unique path to pursuing her passion. Grave discussed her journey to creating Snappening, an online search tool that makes finding Indianapolis wedding and event locations fast and simple. Grave, who has more than 15 years in marketing and sales, maintained her full-time job at an Indianapolis law firm while getting Snappening off the ground. After extensive research, Grave discovered a need for an online database that offers comprehensive information about Indianapolis event venues for weddings, corporate meetings and parties. At that point, Snappening was born.

“There are many paths to pursuing your dream. You can dive in head first or take baby steps. What’s most important is that you start the journey,” Grave said. “It was humbling to share my story with Erin as she explores the diverse steps to the ultimate goal – living your passion. This book gives aspiring entrepreneurs the courage to look beyond perceived obstacles and go for their dreams, right where they are.”
